The bear department is possibly one of the most universally desirable categories of the toy department with most people unable to resist the human like characteristics of each bear reminding them of their once loved and likely never forgotten childhood example.

Harper field have been lucky enough to handle a number of large collections containing everything from modern Steiff, Charlie Bears and Merrythought examples through to much rarer 19thC and early 20thC bears by the likes of Steiff, Chad Valley and Farnell.  

With most antique Teddy bear often having no marks or tags at all our experts use their wealth of knowledge to attribute bears to various manufacturers establishing the difference between a bear worth a few pounds and a similar looking example worth thousands.
