The market for wristwatches has quite simply never been stronger, with overwhelming national and international interest for any quality wristwatch.
The quarterly specialist watch auctions at Harper Field feature between 300 and 500 lots from well-known manufacturers such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Breitling, Breguet, Hublot, Omega, Tag Heuer, IWC and many more.
We have achieved outstanding prices for both modern and vintage examples, and have sold to countless countries across the globe, with a number of notable lots going to collectors in Hong Kong where there is considerable interest in vintage Rolexes in particular.
It’s not all about the big household names though, there is equal interest in some of the brands perceived as less high profile such as Seiko, Citizen, Swatch and Bulova. Military issue watches have also seen a spike in prices achieved at auction, including those produced as part of the 'Dirty Dozen' and some Rolex Military Submariners or 'MilSubs' realising in excess of £100,000.
